  • I find magicians a bit ironic because their whole shtick is entertaining people, and yet, half of the tricks they do are things that i believe most people don't really care that much about. If it's a card trick or a "magic" trick, then I know you tricked me, so it has to be entertaining enough for me to even care. If it's something crazy like the ice pick, it's like, "Wow! How does that not hurt?" or "How does he do it?" But that's not the kind of entertainment I am into. That's how I feel about a magic show, some of the tricks were entertaining, but the rest of the time I am stuck there watching something that the performer expects me to be entertained by and thus, I should reciprocate with money, or at the very least, with my applause or admiration. It's like, you are the one asking me to watch YOU. I didn't ask for any of this, and quite frankly, I didn't care for it lol

  • I love David. So, cliche to say he is the reason I do street magic. I've gotten so good since was 14, now 36, I walked into a BWW and waited for my food. I see a guy being overzealous with a pack of cards with people sitting at the bar. I get this feeling around cards and just reached over to touch the advertisement cards he left by his spot on the bar. He eyeballs me and comes up to me to confront this weirdo touching his property. I apologize and he lays 4 aces face down. He accidentally flashed while laying them down. Now, I didn't know the order, I just knew it was 4 of them. He asks if I know what those are. I told him it was 4 aces. He asks me to pick one. I, always willing to see a trick I've never seen, ablidge him. It's the ace of spade. He stands there with great confidence and says,"Ah ha, see." I love people's curiosity for magic, but I could tell he was a beginner. Like first deck of cards new. He continues, "Wouldn't be nice if you could know what each card is?" I said, "I do." One rule of magic, demonstrating your abilities. "I'm a magician." He doesn't believe me and they never do. Another rule, be mysterious. He says "No, you're not." I say okay and order a Mountain Dew from the bartender. He says prove it. I reach over very slowly, I want him to know it is impossible for me to see. I honestly never saw when he set the cards down, but a good magician has weapons in his arsenal that come from practicing and making mistakes and learning. Ace of diamonds. He's not convinced. I grab the next even slower than before. He tries to grab my hand as I show the card, but I hold it up and turn my head away. Ace of hearts. He smiles, and it impresses him. That look on his face is one that never gets old. It's a high that you get. To know things that only a small percentage of people know. It's a power.

  • I kind of feel like self injury isn't magic. At all....anyone can shove a needle into their arm. It's not magic and doesn't leave any mystery as to how it was done. It's just self sabotage without showing pain or emotion. Which is freaky. Which gains views. But it's not magic at all. Especially when you're showing and telling people what you're going to do and how you're going to do it. He should be listed as a stuntman and not magician

  • Somebody here has an open mind and wants to watch an interesting video look up the video magicians prove a spiritual world exists it's about two and a half hours long but I'm telling you it's going to blow your mind and you have to watch it with an open mind. these magicians do things that go against the laws of biology and physics and stuff these counterfeit miracles. These aren't just magic tricks they're actually doing these things they're getting help from otherworldly beings demons. did you hear how it said that the guy that used to stab himself with swords Heard a voice tell him to eat this and that? You're going to read this comment you're going to think this dude's crazy this and that but I really encourage you watch that video magicians prove a spiritual world exists it is a great video
